1. What this covers
Bix Learn: Language Learning is free to use. This policy applies only to the optional paid subscriptions — Bix Learn Super and Bix Learn Ultra — described on our Pricing page.
Where you bought your subscription decides who handles cancellation and refunds, so this policy is written in two halves:
- Web purchases — bought at www.bixlearn.com, sold by Rightsol Private Limited and processed by Razorpay. Rightsol handles these directly, and the terms below are ours.
- App purchases — bought inside the iOS or Android app, sold and processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Their policies govern those, and we cannot override them.
If you are unsure which you have, the receipt tells you: an emailed Razorpay receipt from Rightsol means a web purchase, while a receipt from Apple or Google means an app purchase.
2. Cancelling a web subscription
You can cancel at any time, and cancelling is always free. There is no cancellation fee, no minimum term and no need to give a reason.
To cancel a subscription bought on the web, either:
- open Settings → Subscription in the Bix Learn: Language Learning web app and choose Cancel subscription; or
- email us at mydwstudios@gmail.com from the address on your account, asking us to cancel.
We action email cancellation requests within 2 business days and confirm by reply. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for — it stops the next renewal rather than cutting off access immediately.
3. Cancelling an app subscription
Subscriptions bought inside the mobile app are cancelled through the store that sold them, not through us — we have no ability to cancel them on your behalf.
- iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Bix Learn: Language Learning → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Google Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Bix Learn: Language Learning → Cancel subscription.
As with web subscriptions, cancelling stops future renewals and leaves your access running until the paid period ends.
4. What happens after you cancel
- Access continues to the end of the period you paid for. Cancelling on day 3 of a monthly plan does not end your access on day 3 — you keep Super or Ultra until the month you bought runs out.
- After that, your account reverts to the Free plan. The hearts limit returns; Talk with Bix stops being available if you were on Ultra.
- Your learning is not deleted. Lesson progress, streak, XP and your personal dictionary are unaffected by cancelling. If you subscribe again later, you carry on where you left off.

5. Refunds on web purchases
Our refund window is 7 days. If you email us within 7 calendar days of a charge from Rightsol Private Limited and you have made only limited use of the paid features in that period, we will refund that charge in full.
Beyond that, some specifics so nothing is left to interpretation:
- The window runs from the date of the charge, including on a renewal — not only from your first ever purchase.
- "Limited use" means we look at whether the subscription has effectively been consumed. Finishing a handful of lessons will not cost you a refund; several weeks of daily Ultra conversation inside the window may.
- After 7 days we do not refund the current billing period. You may still cancel at any time to stop the next renewal, and you keep access for the period you paid for.
- We do not pro-rate a partly used period outside the 7-day window, on any plan.
- If we cancel or suspend your account for breach of the Terms of Use, no refund is due.
- If we discontinue a paid feature you are actively paying for, we will refund the unused portion of your current period, regardless of the 7-day window.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Razorpay. We initiate them within 3 business days of approving the request; your bank or card issuer then typically takes a further 5–7 business days to show the money, which is outside our control.
6. Refunds on app purchases
Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are refunded by Apple or Google under their own policies. We are not able to issue refunds for them — the payment never reaches us in a form we can reverse.
- Apple: request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Google Play: request a refund from the order in Google Play, or at Google Play's refund page.
If a store declines and you believe the charge was genuinely wrong, contact us anyway — we cannot reverse the payment, but we can look at what happened on your account and take it up with the store where there is a case to make.
7. How to request a refund
Email mydwstudios@gmail.com from the email address on your Bix Learn: Language Learning account, with:
- the date and amount of the charge;
- the Razorpay payment ID or order ID from your receipt, if you have it; and
- a sentence on what went wrong — useful to us even when the refund is automatic.
We reply to every refund request within 2 business days, whether the answer is yes or no. If we decline, we will say why.
8. Failed and duplicate payments
These are not really refund cases and are not subject to the 7-day window:
- Charged twice for the same period. Tell us and we refund the duplicate in full, however long ago it happened.
- Money debited but no subscription activated. Usually a payment that failed after your bank had already authorised it; such amounts are normally reversed automatically within 5–7 business days. If yours is not, contact us and we will trace it with Razorpay.
- Charged after cancelling. If a renewal is taken after you cancelled, that is our error and we refund it in full.
