1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Bix Learn: Language Learning mobile app, bixlearn.com or the Bix Learn: Language Learning web app at app.bixlearn.com (together, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service is owned and provided by Rightsol Private Limited, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, and is developed by Abel Joshua Skaria, a developer at Rightsol Private Limited. Bix Learn: Language Learning is published on Google Play by Rightsol Private Limited, and on the Apple App Store under the developer account of Abel Joshua Skaria with the authorisation of Rightsol Private Limited, which remains the owner of the app.

2. Eligibility

Bix Learn: Language Learning is designed to be usable by learners of all ages. If you are under 13, we recommend that you use Talk with Bix — and make any future purchases — together with a parent or guardian.

By using the Service you confirm that the information you give us is accurate, and that you have the legal capacity to accept these Terms or the consent of a parent or guardian who does. A parent or guardian is responsible for a minor's use of the Service and may contact us at any time to have the minor's data removed.

3. Description of service

Bix Learn: Language Learning is a language-learning app: a daily lesson path, spaced-repetition vocabulary review, and listening, pairing and speaking practice zones. The Free tier gives you full access to all of this, limited by a hearts system — you start with 5 hearts, lose one for each mistake, and each lost heart takes 4.8 hours to recover.

Bix Learn Super and Bix Learn Ultra are optional paid subscriptions that remove the hearts limit, so there's no daily cap on how many lessons or units you can complete. Talk with Bix — an AI conversation partner for spoken practice — is included with Ultra only; Super does not include it. Without Ultra you can open Talk with Bix and see how it works, but starting a conversation will prompt you to subscribe.

We may add, change or remove features over time. We may also suspend the Service temporarily for maintenance or technical reasons.

4. Accounts

You can use Bix Learn: Language Learning as a guest without an account, or sign up with an email address and password, or with Google Sign-In.

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
  • You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must provide accurate information, and keep it up to date.
  • An account is for one person. Please do not share, transfer or sell accounts.
  • Tell us promptly at mydwstudios@gmail.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Guest progress is stored only on your device. If you uninstall the app or clear its data before creating an account, that progress cannot be recovered.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, abuse or harm anyone.
  • Send abusive, harmful, hateful or illegal content to Talk with Bix.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape or copy any part of the Service.
  • Interfere with, overload or attempt to disrupt our servers or infrastructure.
  • Attempt to access another user's account or data, or bypass our security rules.
  • Use automated systems or bots to interact with the Service.
  • Use the Service commercially without our written consent.

6. Talk with Bix and AI content

"Bix" is an AI-generated language-practice partner, powered by Google's Gemini API. Bix is not a human being, not a certified teacher, and not a qualified translator.

AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate, unnatural or incomplete. You should not rely on Bix for professional translation, certified language assessment, or any critical communication. Use your own judgement.

Talk with Bix requires an active Bix Learn Ultra subscription (see section 7) — a Super subscription does not include it. By starting a conversation, you consent to your voice audio being transmitted to Google's Gemini API for the purpose of generating a reply, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Bix Learn Super and Ultra

Bix Learn: Language Learning is free to download and use, with the hearts limit described in section 3. Two optional paid tiers are available:

  • Bix Learn Super — unlimited hearts, so no daily limit on lessons or units. Does not include Talk with Bix.
  • Bix Learn Ultra — unlimited hearts, plus Talk with Bix.

Prices are published on our Pricing page, in Indian rupees and inclusive of 18% GST, and are also shown again before you confirm any purchase. The same prices apply whether you subscribe on the web or in the mobile app.

Where you can buy, and who sells it to you

There are two purchase channels, and which one you use decides who you are contracting with for the payment:

  • On the web — at www.bixlearn.com. Here the subscription is sold to you directly by Rightsol Private Limited, and payment is processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited acting as our payment gateway. Razorpay accepts UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking and wallets. Card and bank credentials are entered on Razorpay's secure checkout and handled by Razorpay; Rightsol does not collect or store your card details.
  • In the mobile app — on iOS or Android. Here the subscription is sold and processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their own payment terms, and we receive only confirmation that it is active.

Renewal

  • Every paid plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless it is cancelled beforehand. Renewal is at the then-current price for that plan.
  • For web subscriptions, the renewal is taken by Rightsol through Razorpay using the payment method you authorised.
  • We will email you a receipt for every charge.

Cancellation

  • Web subscriptions — cancel at any time in Settings → Subscription in the web app, or by emailing us. There is no cancellation fee and no minimum term.
  • App subscriptions — cancel through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. We are not able to cancel these for you.
  • In both cases, cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Refunds

  • Web subscriptions — Rightsol issues refunds directly, under a 7-day refund window set out in full in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Razorpay.
  • App subscriptions — refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. We cannot issue refunds for purchases made through them, because the payment never reaches us in a form we can reverse.

Changes and lapses

  • If your subscription lapses, that tier's features stop working and your account reverts to the Free hearts limit. Your lesson progress, streak, XP and vocabulary are unaffected.
  • Switching between Super and Ultra, or between billing periods, follows the proration and switching rules of the channel you bought through — ours for web subscriptions, Apple's or Google's for app subscriptions.

We may change what each tier includes, or its price, in future. Price changes will be announced — by email and on the Pricing page for web subscriptions, and through the store for app subscriptions — before they take effect, and will never apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for.

8. Intellectual property

All content in the Service — including lessons, course packs, illustrations, audio, the Bix character, the Bix Learn: Language Learning name, logo and branding, and the software itself — is owned by Rightsol Private Limited or its licensors, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own non-commercial language learning. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you.

9. Third-party services

The Service depends on third-party providers, including Google Firebase, Google Sign-In and the Google Gemini API, as listed in our Privacy Policy.

We are not responsible for outages, changes or losses caused by those providers, and their own terms and privacy policies apply to their handling of data.

10. Termination

You may stop using Bix Learn: Language Learning at any time. You can delete your data yourself from Settings → Delete my data, or request full deletion of your account by emailing us — see our Privacy Policy for exactly what each option removes.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we reasonably believe your use puts other users or the Service at risk. Where practical and lawful, we will tell you why.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or that its learning content or AI responses will be entirely accurate. Your language-learning results depend on many factors outside our control.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rightsol Private Limited will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue or profits arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim — whether to us or through the Apple App Store or Google Play — or INR 1,000.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. You and we agree that the courts of Maharashtra, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as Bix Learn: Language Learning changes. We will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and we will notify you in the app of material changes. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will stay in full force.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, our Refund & Cancellation Policy and our Shipping & Delivery Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Rightsol Private Limited regarding Bix Learn: Language Learning, and supersede any earlier agreements on that subject.
